AMD Telecom’s Revenue Assurance Program is set to handle all international OTP traffic for Bhutan’s major mobile network.
Thessaloniki, April 23, 2020. We are happy to announce that we have reached an agreement with Bhutan Telecom for the exclusive commercial management of the Network’s International A2P traffic. BT currently controls 73% of the country’s subscriber base, making AMD Telecom the major A2P Provider in the South Asia nation. The project is under the AMD Telecom’s Revenue Assurance Program, a set of monetization and messaging security services designed to offer guaranteed revenue streams and cost-cutting to Mobile Network Operators.
Powered by AMD Telecom’s powerful platform, the service will be based on the latest version of the SMS Firewall solution the company offers. By applying a “Security Net” across all BT’s Core Network, the MNO is securing its International A2P Business. At the same time, AMD Telecom’s Firewall successfully fights off imposters, black traffic, and dubious users safeguarding BT’s legal and compliance requirements. Also as part of the AMD Telecom Revenue Assurance Program, Bhutan Telecoms Messaging Business is expected to increase, since enterprises across the globe will gain easier access to Bhutan’s Market through AMD Telecom’s transparent and reliable Gateway.
“We designed a solution that can transform A2P traffic for MNO’s” stated Kostas Dalkiranis, Head of VAS & Business Development at AMD Telecom. “We are extremely happy that we will work with a local market leader such as Bhutan Telecom and looking forward to our next steps in the South Asia region”.
Working with AMD Telecom, Mobile Network Operators ensure high quality of services, reliability, and rapid growth.
